About Us

Allegiance is a non-profit independent youth color guard program formed in 2010 through a co-ed scouting initiative called Exploring and is based in the historic town of Dundee, Illinois. Membership in Allegiance is open to girls and boys ages 9-14 and young men and women ages 14-23. Previous color guard or dance experience not required. We have color guard learning and performing opportunities for beginner through advanced levels.

At Allegiance, students learn the fundamentals of color guard equipment and movement while building their confidence, character and self-esteem. It is an active, healthy and fun activity to be a part of during the summer and winter months. Once the routines are learned, participants get to perform at local summer parades and winter indoor competitions. For membership information, please go to our Join page.  Allegiance Color Guard is a 501(c)(3) youth organization and has several sponsorship opportunities. Please contact Board President, Cami Janzen-Guare at for tax-deductible sponsorship information. Thank you!
