Eric Hall – Guard Director


Eric is the founder and Director of Allegiance Color Guard and he currently resides in East Dundee, Illinois. He has been involved in the color guard activity as a performer, instructor and designer for winter guards, drum corps and marching bands for over 20 years.

He began his marching career in high school as a trumpet player for the Imperial Scots Marching Band of Dundee, Illinois. While studying graphic design in college, Eric was a color guard member of the Buccaneers Winter Guard of Sheboygan, Wisconsin and the Glassmen Drum & Bugle Corps of Toledo, Ohio.

After college, Eric moved to Chicago, Illinois and began working with many high school and independent color guard programs throughout the Midwest. From 2000 to 2007, he was the show designer for two-time WGI finalist Evolution Winter Guard of Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

In 2010, Eric decided to bring his many years of experience back to his hometown of Dundee, Illinois by creating Allegiance Color Guard! Since then, the Allegiance teams have earned many prestigious awards including gold, silver and bronze medals at the Midwest Color Guard (MWCGC) Championships and finalist status at Winter Guard International (WGI) Championships.

Eric looks forward to continuing the growth and success of Allegiance Color Guard with each new season!
